History

A both modern and historic Campus

History: 18th–21st century

In 1781, Jacques Berthault gathered multiple plots of land in an estate where he created a picturesque garden, which was the fashion at the time. He erected several buildings there—an Hermitage, a fisherman’s bungalow, and an Obelisk—and diverted the nearby river to create a pond, which remains at the center of the park today.

Think more wisely! Move!

Maintaining the same position, even ergonomic, for a long period causes muscle and joint tension which results in nervous and mental fatigue. This impacts the ability to concentrate, optimism, performance and creativity. As soon as signs of discomfort appear, the position should be changed without delay. Don't hesitate to get up and stretch regularly.

If you are a facilitator, include some ice-breaking stretching exercices from time to time.

At least 5 minutes, 3 times a day!

The more we are in contact with nature, the more we resist to stress and the less we develop mental disorders. As of 5 minutes of contact with nature, we reach the optimal level of relaxation necessary for the feeling of well being. Depending on the time you have available, go for a walk from the sign near Reception.

Nice to meet you!

At the start of the meeting, make an introduction round table (first name, last name, position) and let participants express their expectations or questions. This will make the session more interactive and allow for more personalized interactions. And why not, doing it as an ice breaker: for example, by asking participants to gather according to their size, or their seniority in the company, or their geographical origin, or their business skills, or simply by groups that you will have preconstituted by color lanyards...).

Its CSR commitments

Environmental responsibility: share our ambitions

The Campus has obtained numerous certifications that testify to its commitment to Sustainable Development:

  • European Eco-label in 2008
  • ISO 14001 in 2017
  • GreenStar - Gold level - from the IACC in 2017
  • ISO 20121 in 2020

This has been achieved thanks to an ambitious and pro-active policy based on four main pillars:

English

Everyone has a role!

For a meeting to be successful, several roles must be addressed:
- The client, who has a direct interest in what is being discussed.
- The participants, who must always be active contributors. No observers in meetings!
- The time keeper, who ensures compliance with the time contract.
- The scribe, who takes notes and graphically facilitates.
- The facilitator, who animates or presents. S/he is the one who organizes and is responsible for the work process. S/he can also be a scribe and a time keeper.

English

Stay focused

A meeting is based on the expectation of tangible or intangible deliverables. Identify the expected deliverable(s) at the very beginning of the session and keep it (them) in mind throughout the session, or project as appropriate. You will thus be able to easily assess individual or collective progress, validate steps and complete the achievements against the objective.

Why? Why? Why?

Why not use a new method of creativity during your brainstorming? Publicly designate a participant who will play the role of a candid. S/he will ask all the questions that come to his/her mind on the subject to be dealt with, in order to challenge debates, remove any inconsistencies or approximations, and check the relevance of all ideas in relation to the theme of the session.

Lock your phone to free up your mind!

Work performance would be increased by 26% when the phone is in another room. The quality would also be improved. We assess 4 levels of remoteness: in the pocket; placed on the desk next to the user; locked in a drawer located in the room; and finally locked away in another room. The greater the distance, the greater the concentration: our standby mode goes off since there is no risk of being disturbed. The stronger our concentration is on a subject, the stronger is our overall performance.
